Saturday Night June
5th we attempted our first live internet broadcast with the
Groove Council.
It was less then successful. There were many technical difficulties. The most glaring was the low wireless Internet signal.
We kept losing the connection and the ustream software used to broadcast proved not to be all that reliable either.
It's back to the drawing board to work out the issues.
Update:
Tuesday 8/31/10 we broadcast the first set of Phil Devoid playing at the Goose.
The Broadcast was successful in terms of streaming to the Internet.
We learned a lot about doing a 3 camera live broadcast with a laptop.
We did have issues with camera placement, sound, lighting, communication with camera people and one camera crashing. All bugs that will be worked out as we refine the technology.
Will try another Live Stream in a couple of weeks.
